Some great Movie Directors

I would like to talk about my favorite movie directors, Satoshi Kon and Hayao Miyasaki. Sadly, Satoshi Kon died on 2010, I was really sad about this because his movies were really good. I really liked his drawing, stories and characters, all of them were so full of life and magic. The first movie I saw was Paprika, which talks about dreams, and for me, if you compare it to Inception, is way better. There is also Perfect Blue, which was an inspiration for the director of the Black Swan, but Perfect Blue being the original is way better, the story is really catchy, the characters are really well made and you never expect what is going to happen next. Also, the ending is soooo good!. I could go on forever, because even though he didn't make much movies, all of them are awesome in some way, Millenium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Roujin Z, etc.
Hayao Miyazaki was the main director for the japanese film company Studio Ghibli, and a few days ago he announced he was retiring from the movies. His last movie is called: Kaze Tachinu, which means Wind Rises. It tells the story of an aircraft designer called Jiro Horikoshi from the WWII, it's based on his biographical book but it also contains the characteristic Ghibli magic. He received lots of criticism, not very good from a group of the japanese population because it was said that he mentioned things about the japanese army that wasn't real, but this is only because this things are not good. Like the fact that there existed a group of the army that tortured prisioners. I can't really tell if this is true or not, because I still haven't watched the movie. I was a bit sad when he said he was retiring, but he deserves it, he has been making such awesome movies for a long time already.
The styles on both of them are different, but they are awesome on their own way. I love to watch their movies, and even though both are not longer making them, I'll just keep watching what they already did.
