My Pets

Today I'm going to talk about my pets. The only ones that are still alive are my dog, Ananda, my cat, Penélope and my sister's turtle Rafael. I've had 11 different kind of pets, with this I mean, different kind of animals, like rabbits, hamsters, rats, cats, dogs, iguanas, turtles, fish, frogs, lizzards and a chinchilla. My first trauma was my chinchilla, he died because he was old, it was a calm death, but it was a trauma for me because I was little and I was the one that found him dead, inside his cage. He was stiff and cold, and I hugged him while crying.
The frogs were another kind of trauma. We has 6 frogs, one for each member of the family. One day, one of them jumped out of the aquarium, my father, who didn't notice, went to his usual spot on the table, sat down and started reading. But the moment he put down the chair and sat, knew something was wrong. Yep, he smashed the little frog with the chair.

Ananda is our dog, she is still alive but she is very old, this October she turned 13 years old. She is a Cocker Spaniel. Right now she is living with my sister, her husband and her son. They are a cute family, and my nephew loves her, the only problem is that she is afraid of him. He likes to go after her and hold her, but she starts trembling like crazy. Lately, he likes to go and sit on her bed, while she trembles from a corner watching her bed being stolen.

Penélope is my cat, she lives with me. She is my most important company when I'm at home, she is always with me. When I have to work, she sits beside me and stares at me or just sleeps. When I have to study, usually she sits on top of my book, that way I have to pet her instead of reading. She is very small, even though she has 10 years, the vets always think that she is like, 2 years old. In the night she sleeps with me on my bed. When it's winter, she likes to sleep under the sheets with me. She is always asking for love, meowing on a special way, purring, and she doesn't like to eat alone, so she calls me to accompany her. I really love my cat, she makes me feel needed.

We used to keep him in the backyard, we were cleaning the container, so meanwhile we put the frog on a bucket, it seems that he didn't like it and jump from it, my mother saw how a stray savage cat appear, and went away with the frog in his mouth.
